Deluxe hotel, I appreciated its quiet and ideal location.
Came here for a short stay, recommendable. I had 3 nights in Criccieth, spending the time here lovely. I booked a room with a comfortable bed, a fridge, an electric kettle, and a TV set. Sea view was a nice bonus. Really helpful staff as I wanted.

I loved my stay at this charming seaside retreat. The Lobster Shack offers stunning sea views, which I could even enjoy from the comfort of my bed. As an ex Navy Wren, I particularly appreciated the quirky nautical theme of the room. It was exactly as advertised, clean, and had excellent views of both the sea and the nearby castle. The location was peaceful and relaxing, perfect for a getaway with my partner. The hosts, Charlotte and John, were lovely. I highly recommend this unique and vibrant place.
Nothing not to like. 🙂

The vibrant and quirky atmosphere of the hotel was definitely a highlight of our romantic getaway. We loved the unique decor and the owners' vision for creating such a special place. The sea view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, and being able to see the sea right from our bed was an unforgettable experience. The location was also perfect, offering a peaceful and relaxing environment. Plus, having a fridge in the room was a great bonus for keeping our drinks nice and cold.
Although we enjoyed our stay, there were a couple of minor points that could be improved. the lack of towel rails in the bathroom was a bit inconvenient, as we had to hang our towels on the back of the door.

The location of the hotel was stunning, with breathtaking sea views that could even be enjoyed from the comfort of the bed. The quirky nautical-themed room added a unique touch to the stay, giving it a cozy and charming atmosphere. The room was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for guests. the hosts, Charlotte and John, were praised for their friendliness and hospitality.
While some of the rooms were decorated to a high standard, there were a few areas of the hotel that seemed a bit outdated and tired. This may have taken away from the overall hotel experience for some guests.

The Lobster Shack was definitely worth the money! The themed room had stunning sea and castle views, and it was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and main street. The staff treated us well and check in/out was a breeze.
The only improvement for the breakfast would be to have a wider menu with more options.

The lack of breakfast option was a disappointment. , the hotel felt a bit outdated and worn out.

I had a fantastic stay at The Lobster Shack in Criccieth. I was visiting the area for a short break and stayed for two nights. The room was beautifully themed with a lovely view of the sea and Criccieth Castle. It was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed. The free parking across the street made it convenient to bring my car. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and main street. It was also a great base for exploring nearby places like Aberdaron, Abersoch, Pwllheli, and Porthmadog.
